Ultraleather Launches Brisa Ellora Upholstery Collection

Ultraleather, the residential brand from Ultrafabrics, has introduced Brisa Ellora, a new upholstery collection designed for breathability, softness, and sustainable construction. The collection debuts with 25 colorways and is intended for use across a range of residential interior settings, including living rooms, bedrooms, and home offices.
Part of the broader Brisa family—which includes Brisa, Brisa Distressed, Brisa Frontier, and Brisa Forecast—Brisa Ellora features a subtle texture, matte finish, and integrated ventilation system to promote airflow and comfort. Its name is inspired by the word “cloud,” reflecting the collection’s aesthetic direction and tactile qualities.

Performance Meets Sustainable Design
Brisa Ellora’s construction includes a blended backcloth made from recycled polyester and FSC/PEFC-certified rayon, incorporating the equivalent of approximately eight recycled plastic bottles per linear yard. The fabric is engineered for durability, with performance ratings of 300,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek) and 160,000 rubs (Martindale).
The collection is SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certified, REACH compliant, and bleach-cleanable at a 1:5 solution. It contains no added formaldehyde or Red List chemicals and is designed to withstand common household cleaning products and disinfectants. Its acoustic properties also make it suitable for sound-sensitive environments when paired with the appropriate systems.
Brisa Ellora is compatible with a variety of upholstery applications, including sofas, chairs, headboards, and wall panels. It is intended for designers seeking a balance of aesthetics, performance, and environmental responsibility.
