WHITE, GA – Surya marks its 50th anniversary this year, celebrating five decades of craftsmanship, creativity, and trusted partnerships across the design community. Founded in 1976 by Surya Tiwari, father of current President Satya Tiwari, Surya began as a small family business grounded in a deep appreciation for craft and an unwavering commitment to serving its customers.

Under Satya Tiwari's leadership, the company grew into a resource for furniture, rugs, textiles, lighting, wall decor and accessories, serving designers and design-driven retailers. Today, the company has evolved into Surya Inc. with a multi-brand portfolio that includes Surya, Global Views and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams.
