ICFF Will Move to November Starting in 2027
Furniture World News Desk
New York, NY – ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) will shift its annual dates beginning in 2027, moving the fair to November. The 2027 edition is scheduled for November 7–9 at the Javits Center in New York City.
According to ICFF Brand Directors Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat, industry feedback indicated that the spring international fair calendar had become too crowded. The decision to move to November was made after discussions with exhibitors and partners.
The change is intended to create a more efficient business environment for the global design industry, aligning ICFF with the worldwide design calendar and increasing opportunities for growth and international visibility. ICFF will continue to include the WANTED feature as part of its programming.
The new November timing will coincide with BDNY (Boutique Design New York), although both shows will remain independent events with their own identities and programming. Both fairs will take place at the Javits Center, offering complementary experiences for professionals in the high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial design sectors.
In 2025, ICFF reported more than 13,000 attendees, while BDNY drew over 16,000, with approximately 10% audience overlap. ICFF noted that about half of its exhibitors were international.
ICFF will continue to offer year-round engagement leading up to its November 2027 edition with the following scheduled activations:
